Wacker Chemie is presenting two new liquid silicone rubber grades at FAKUMA in Friedrichshafen, Germany, from October 12 to 16, in Hall A6, Booth 6212. ELASTOSIL LR 5471 is a self-adhesive, high tear-resistant, non-postcure grade for food contact, medical and baby care parts, with elongation at break up to 570 percent and available in Shore A 40 and 50. ELASTOSIL LR 3822 is an oil-exuding, coolant-resistant silicone for seals in EV traction battery cooling circuits, retaining most properties after 1,000 hours in glycol-water at 125 °C.
